- Memberships start at the regular price with the option to make an additional contribution when you renew.

Consider it the price of admission

When you are on the Appalachian Trail take in all the beauty of your surroundings. But then, take some time to look at how the trail came to be. The stone steps, the cleared paths, the shelters and privies. All given to you by many volunteers and their strong backs and love of the trail. If you are going to hike 1 mile or all 2190 miles of the AT, buy a membership and consider it the price of admission.

Maintaining your membership is a great way to give back to the organization that not only helps to continue it's mission to keep alive the traditions and vision to preserve the best trail in the world, but to help each one of us on our hikes along this superb wonder of the world.
